RISE STRONGER

Bronze sculpture. 24Px34Lx13H

Apparently defeated, one foot pointing to the ground, however, shows an impetus to get up, redeem herself, rise to new life.

New in every sense, in the vision of the Author, Virginia de Gasperis, who interprets the current moment of Women as the impetuous emergence and the recovery of a dignity that has, for way too long, been trampled on.

The roundness and fullness of this body leave no doubt about the sexual identity of she who, bent, is about to rise again, stronger.

The sensuality of the work also reveals the pulsating force in this figure.
